Actualizes Wireless Public Authentication Service

KOSCOM will provide service for mobile securities trading as the pioneer in the world.

KOSCOM and SK Telecom(www.sktelecom.com) announced to offer wireless public authentication applied mobile trading of Daewoo securities(www.bestez.com) from December 5th.

Although wire Internet has public authentication services over various fields like Internet banking, on line securities trading, electric auction, cyber complaint service and so on but wireless Internet field has not. Wireless Internet field is controversial about information protection because there has been no precedent in the world.

However, this cooperation between KOSCOM and SK Telecom to begin wireless public authentication service as the very first try in the history is expected to solve problems about security and trustworthy. It is seen as a level up of domestic mobile service standard.
