Koscom(CEO Kim, Kwang Hyun) signed for academic-industrial cooperation with Soongsil University(President Kim, Dae Guen) on November 1 at the headquarter in Yeouido to nurture global financial IT specialist.

Koscom has been actively pushing ahead with exporting an automated stock trading system overseas and has specialized in development of financial solution. In addition, the importance of IT area in the financial industry cannot be more emphasized recently. However, there are no educational institutions for financial IT specialist.

Based on the fact, Koscom and College of Information and Science of Soongsil University, which has set up the first Department of financial IT Science of its kind at home, agreed to embark on fostering professionals with both financial and IT knowledge.  

The agreement includes that establishing a financial IT education center, funding for research, nurturing financial IT specialists, strengthening mutual cooperation and invigorating investment and exchanges for development of financial IT industry. 

"To develop Korean and overseas capital markets, a number of IT professionals with global sense should be cultivated. In this regard, Koscom will make a steady contribution to the financial industry by raising talented personnel and investing R&D project." said Koscome CEO Kim, Kwang Hyun.
