<Mr. Seok-Dae Yoon, deputy president of Koscom, visited KVH Japan, the IDC company in Minato-ku, Tokyo and celebrated at the ’Ceremony for Data Center Agreement’ with Mr. Richard Warley, CEO of KVH, on March 30 2012.>
□ Koscom, the financial IT company of Korean, has successfully attracted KVH Japan, a specialized company in the Internet Data Center(IDC) industry.
□ Since last year’s earthquake in northeastern Japan and consequential power shortage, many Japanese financial institutions and corporations are considering international relocation of their data centers. And Koscom is the first Korean company to attract one of those companies to its data center with outstanding domestic technologies.
□ Koscom announced that the agreement for data center with KVH Japan has signed in Minato-ku, Tokyo on March 30. The agreement also includes the business diversification, such as cooperative marketing activities in Japan.
□ With this agreement, Koscom now can operate global circuit leased-line services connecting its Stock-Net*, the financial exclusive network, and the international network of KVH.

Stock-Net is a financial exclusive network that provides securities network services, transfer services, backup network services, internet services, global financial network services, maintenance services, and others. It is the high-speed back bone network with fiber-optic cables that supports seamless service environment through the operation of network backup center and dualization of all communication equipment and path between customer’s data room and the data center.
□ Koscom also plans to reach out to global customers in Japan, especially to Japanese financial institutions with strategic provisions in Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Plan(DR/BCP) services that comprehend Koscom’s accumulated experiences and know-hows; cloud services; procurement of computer equipment services.
□ Koscom has secured sales route to overseas market with this opportunity and it anticipates considerable amount of exports for future business expansion.
