□ On September 5th, Koscom(www.koscom.co.kr), the domestic capital market IT service provider, entered into a contract for a connected business project of Global Trading Hub with NYSE Technologies(https://nysetechnologies.nyx.com) from NYSE Euronext Group at Koscom's headquarter office located in Yeouido.
* NYSE Technologies : NYSE Technologies is an independent business department at NYX(NYSE-Euronext), providing solutions related to transaction, data and infra services. It has branch offices in the United States, Europe and Asia.
□ A connected business project of global trading hub is to make a connection between Koscom's STP(Straight Through Processing)-HUB and MarketplaceTM Services of NYSE Technologies.
□ Through this, 60 domestic securities companies being accessed to STP-HUB were able to secure an order channel from Europe and America. It is expected to expand the liquidity of the capital market in Korea and also enabled for domestic securities companies and asset managements in Korea to secure securities infra for making investments in Europe and America.
□ Koscom and NYSE Technologies will promote a joint marketing for this connected business project targeting investors in domestic and abroad. Moreover, both parties agree to share know-hows on introduction method of a developed capital market's ATS which is to prepare for introduction of Alternative Trading System(ATS) within domestic capital market.
□ In Soo Kim, an executive director at Koscom, said that "This connected business project with NYSE Technologies will provide more investment opportunities on various financial products from abroad for both domestic and foreign investors." He also mentioned that "Both companies will try to prepare a cooperation plan for promotion of a new joint business which will speed up entering into the foreign markets."
